Santa Claus came to town!

Since Jenson's birthday things have been really busy and it is time to catch up. This year we decided to host Cam's family Christmas at our house. Cam and Jenson were super excited decorating for this! We decided to get our basement in order for the big event so we put Jenson to work!! "Unkie Dave" gave Jenson great painting pointers! Even though we decided we didn't like this color and redid the wall, Jenson did a great job!

Then it was time to go to the farm and have Christmas with Poppy and Gin! We had a great day celebrating Christmas with my family and then that evening we went to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks with baby Joey and Jake. The next morning Santa came early and stopped by the farm.

Then it was time to head back home and get ready for Santa to come to our house. Jenson was so excited when he saw that Santa had been at our house.

After Jenson had opened all his presents from Santa there was one more special gift from Mickey Mouse...a trip to Disney World!! He is SO excited!!

Then it was time for our third Christmas party with Cam's family.

Then Jenson FINALLY crashed in the basement while Daddy played the wii. What a WONDERFUL Christmas!!

Funny things Jenson Says

On my birthday this year, Jenson was so excited to tell his class that is was my birthday. He also informed them that I was turning 47! They all made me a Happy 47th Birthday card and sang Happy Birthday to me on the playground!
Jenson had his first chapel visit at school. When it was time for the kids to pray for their intentions, Jenson said he wanted to pray for his brother. After chapel Jenson went up to his teacher and said he really wanted to pray for his big brother who was in heaven. Holy Cow! Where does he come up with these things. He told me his "older brother" was an imaginary friend who was a dog, with black spikey hair, and played with him on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
While we were at a birthday party at Monkey Joe's, Jenson cracked us up! It was cake time. The cake was an airbrushed Thomas the Train cake. It was quiet while all the kids were scarfing down their cake and Jenson yells out, "THIS CAKE IS JUST BEAUTIFUL!". Really...it was so funny we all were laughing! :)
As we were leaving Disney World on the "Magic Bus", Jenson was yelling out.... "Bye Disney World!! See you next time!!".
Jenson how did you get to be so smart? Jenson replied so serious...It is because I take Spanish. :)
Jenson's new saying for doing something is, "Let's Rock and Roll!". The first time he said that I said what and he said it again...totally made me laugh! Let's Rock and Roll!
Jenson got a new Hot Wheels set from his birthday party. I was going to play with him and he said, "Mom...YOU know how to play with Hot Wheels??" I told him yes and he thought it was just a Daddy thing!! I really don't know how to play with Hot Wheels but now he can never know that!! :)
This morning going out to the garage to get in the car, Jenson noticed Daddy had parked his dirt bike next to Jenson's chopper....He says, "Why did Daddy do that? I guess because he knows we love them and that's what boys do!" I asked Jenson if I could love motorcycles too because I am a girl and he said only dirt bikes! Boys and their toys!
Jenson loves the Black Eyed Peas. He loves Boom Boom Pow and I gotta a Feeling. The only part he randomly sings outloud from the song I got a feeling is "Mazel tov". The other day I was in the kitchen and he was playing and yelled out, "Mazel tov!". Totally made me laugh!!
Mommy...I know Spanish. I ask for Jenson to tell me and he says but not now.
I want to draw a picture for my baby cousin...baby Nolan would like four pictures.
Asking Jenson why he did something when he was getting into trouble...My bones made me do it!
